Claddagh Ring Museum
The Claddagh Ring (Irish wedding ring) is believed to have originated in the fishing village situated near the “shore” or “Claddagh” of Galway Bay. The museum has been described as “the smallest museum in Europe with the biggest gift shop”. It proudly houses some of the very first Claddagh rings from 1700-1800. Well worth a visit.
